What stays in the match

The local match model
Jotduel is designed for two people playing face to face on one device. It can keep player nicknames, chosen colors, match setup, moves, results, rematch history, and preferences in local app storage so play can continue and prior results can be reviewed.
No remote player identity
The app does not operate player accounts, online matchmaking, public profiles, chat, or a server-hosted leaderboard. Local match records are not uploaded to Jotduel's operator and are not used for advertising or analytics.
Names visible to both players
A nickname and color selected for a match are intended to appear on the shared screen. Each player should choose a label suitable for the other participant and anyone else who can see the device. Avoid using private information as a nickname.
How records support play
Jotduel reads local game state to apply the selected rules, show whose turn it is, calculate results, offer a rematch, and present statistics. This processing happens on the device and is limited to the features you choose to use.
Clearing the score
Match history and preferences remain until they are cleared through available app controls, removed with the app, or erased through iOS. Deletion may be permanent. Apple-controlled device backups may retain app data according to the settings of the device owner.
Device control
Because both players use the same screen, the device owner controls physical access to local history. Use an appropriate passcode and keep iOS current. No local storage system is completely immune from loss or unauthorized access.
Age and platform boundaries
Jotduel is not directed to children below the applicable minimum age. Apple may handle distribution or device information independently under Apple's policies; that platform activity does not give Jotduel's operator a remote copy of match records.
Policy changes and contact
This notice may change if the game's design, legal duties, or platform requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
